Camping at Maker

Come and enjoy some back to basics 'wild camping' at Maker this summer. We have plenty of space to spread out, relax and unwind.

We are a short walk from the beaches at Kingsand and Cawsand and lookout for our program of music for the summer season in the Energy Room at Maker.

Come and have a drink in the Random Arms bar.

We have hot showers, new toilets!!, and stunning panoramic views.

If you like being all lined up in rows with power hook-ups then sorry we are not for you!

The campsite is only open for a limited time this summer due to planning restrictions.

We are in communication with the planning authority and hope to be able to offer camping for a larger amount of time but until then sorry...

Rates:

• CAMPING
  • ADULT £6 per night 
  • CHILD £3 per night
• YURTS FOR HIRE yurt sleeps upto 4 (BOOKING ESSENTIAL) 
  •  Yurt £25 per night based on two adults sharing
  • Each additional adult £6 per night £3 per child
• Own bedding required. Advice on managing yurt or tipi provided on site. If you've never had some 'Yurt or Tipi Time' now's your chance - it's great :))
• We are dog friendly but ask for you to pick up after your pet and keep them under control.

• Dish wash area
• Camp fires permitted in designated fire pits or in off ground braziers (some available to use)
• Compost loos
• Full recycling facilities
• Bar and Live Music venue (not open all the time - see Energy Room tab for what's on and when)

We are a short walk from the Villages of Kingsand and Cawsand where there are beaches, shops, pubs and cafes + cash machine

Millbrook is just down the hill with supermarkets, shops, fish and chips, newsagents and hardware + cash machine

Plymouth is just a ferry ride away from Cawsand or Cremyl. Visit the historic Barbican, Plymouth Hoe and shopping centre for some retail therapy if you need it!!
