Rame Conservation TrustRame Conservation Trust is the mother organisation which owns and manages Maker Heights. It is a charity and has done an excellent job of 'saving' Maker from the clutches of the property developers and keeping this unique and very special location open to the local community and general public for more than 10 years... You can support the Trust in this mission in many ways: - Physically - by getting involved on site helping with maintenance, painting and decorating, clearing overgrowth of the surrounding historical features...
- Mentally - by offering knowledge, ideas, expertise towards the running of the Trust and it's activities. This could be through joining the team as a Trustee or by being a 'Friend of Maker' and communicating with the Trustees and taking on initiatives...
- Financially - the Trust is always looking for ways to generate income. This is fundamental to the survival of the project. As a charity it can easily (and gratefully) accept donations. The Trust ticks lots of boxes for receiving grants - they usually take a bit of time and know-how to access.... all ideas appreciated...
- Membership - The simplest way of supporting the Trust is to join as a member. This costs only $10 per year, you receive a quarterly newsletter keeping you up-to-date with what's happening it brings money in to the Trust and importantly it helps the Trust to demonstrate the variety of support it has across the wider community. For $250 you can become a life member.
